Currently we are looking for candidates interested in position of:

Language Lead

Join us. Join our linguistic team, in one of the most innovative educational and development centers in Poland. Together with engineers, we develop modern methods of natural language processing.

Competences:

University degree in Linguistics or Management. Experience in the field of localization and/or translation would be an asset. Fluent English. Highly developed computer skills (MS Office). Knowledge of CAT tools desired. Organization skills, ability to cooperate with teams and vendors efficiently.

Scope of responsibilities:

* Preparing linguistic reference materials for vendors,

* Analyzing the scope of work;

* Supporting vendors in the translation process, including query management and solving linguistic issues;

* Supporting project managers;

* Supporting vendor-management-related tasks, including task allocation;

* Performing quality assurance and control tasks with regard to materials provided by vendors and ensuring compliance of deliverables with client requirements;

* Organizing external quality control;

* Cooperating with clients with regard to reference materials and linguistic quality matters;

* Adhering to procedures applicable to the job position;

* Carrying out other tasks required to ensure correct project execution as defined by the manager of the organizational unit, in particular, the temporary performance of duties specified for other job positions within the Localization Department.

* Carry out linguistic QA, including automated QA report checks, LSO, linguistic testing, client specific QA, etc.

* Organize language quality inspection with external quality experts (book experts, send samples, collect feedback, arbitrate, close)

* Answer and resolve translators’ queries regarding translated content, including source text, and tools

* Coordinate feedback distribution to and from translators

* Coordinate language tasks amongst translators and inhouse specialists

* Prepare and maintain glossaries and style guides, and TMs

* Support translators with Lionbridge’s and customers’ tools (optional)

Zakres obowiązków:

o Przygotowywanie lingwistycznych materiałów referencyjnych dla sprzedawców;,

o Wspieranie dostawców w procesie tłumaczenia, w tym zarządzanie zapytaniami i rozwiązywanie problemów językowych;

o Współpraca z klientami w zakresie materiałów referencyjnych i jakości językowej;

o Przeprowadzanie językowej kontroli jakości tłumaczeń;

o Analizowanie zakresu pracy;

o Wspieranie menedżerów projektu; o Organizowanie kontroli jakości języka za pomocą zewnętrznych ekspertów ds. jakości (m.in. eksperci ds. wydawniczych);

o Odpowiadanie na pytania tłumaczy dotyczące tłumaczonych treści, w tym tekstu źródłowego i narzędzi;

o Koordynacja dystrybucji informacji zwrotnej do i od tłumaczy;

o Koordynacja zadań językowych wśród tłumaczy i specjalistów wewnętrznych;

o Wsparcie tłumaczy za pomocą udostępnionych narzędzi i platform.

Kompetencje: Wykształcenie wyższe z zakresu językoznawstwa. Doświadczenie w zakresie tłumaczeń byłoby atutem (nie jest obligatoryjne). Płynny angielski. Wysoko rozwinięte umiejętności obsługi komputera (MS Office). Dobrze widziana znajomość narzędzi CAT. Umiejętności organizacyjne, umiejętność skutecznej współpracy z zespołami i dostawcami.

Project Coordinator

Job tasks and responsibilities:

* Supervision of localization projects. Ensure timely delivery with regards to quality and scope requirements

* Localization projects scheduling and execution (initiation, training, project launch)

* Managing project resources and resources allocation

* Allocation of translation tasks to vendors with regards to time and quality requirements

* Assist sales team in delivering estimates quotations and end customer service

* Ensure compliance of project related activities with quality and sourcing policy and requirements

* Preparation of project related materials, instructions and documentations for translators and internal users

* Effective communication with customer

* Preparation and execution of project budget and invoicing

* Building strong relations with external and internal users by „internal customer” approach

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – Minimum Requirements

* Project Management Studies, Language Studies, Linguistics

* Good English (written and spoken), understanding in a second language a plus

* 6 months of experience in project or activity coordination positions

* Good proficiency of Microsoft Office skills
